UPDATE 1-S&P lifts outlook on Malaysia to positive
LONDON/KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 (Reuters) - Credit rating agency Standard & Poor’s signalled a possible upgrade for Malaysia on Tuesday, pointing to its strong trading record,growing foreign reserves and reforms to state-linked companies.Standard & Poor’s reaffirmed the Southeast Asian nation’s A-foreign-currency debt rating, in the bottom half of investment grade, but raised the rating outlook to positive from stable.
